Corpus Deodorant Ingredients
Propylene Glycol (biobased*)
SOURCE: Plant-based
Traditionally, Propylene Glycol is derived from Propylene Oxide, a chemical product derived from petroleum. We use propylene glycol derived from vegetable glycerin, which is 100% plant-derived.
Water (Aqua)
SOURCE: Nature
Sodium Stearate (biobased*)
SOURCE: Plant-based
Widely used in vegetable based formulations - Sodium Stearate helps form a structure to produce a solid form.
Propanediol (biobased*)
SOURCE: Plant-based
Similar in function to our biobased Propylene Glycol, Propanediol is a biobased glycol derived from corn.
Diatomaceous Earth
SOURCE: Mineral
Diatomaceous Earth is a naturally occurring rock (mineral) used for its deodorizing properties. Our food-grade diatomaceous earth is chemical-free, non-toxic and ideal for sensitive skin.
Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate (Organic)
SOURCE: Plant-based
This safe and effective odor neutralizer is derived from vegetable fermentation. These live enzymes effectively destroy and decompose the odor-causing bacteria in sweat.
Alcohol Denatured (biobased*)
SOURCE: Plant based (Organic Grain alcohol: Sugar Cane)
Derived from sugar cane (not petroleum based) this mild emollient enables oil-based and water-based substances to mix evenly.
Glycerin
SOURCE: Plant-based
Glycerin is a common food and cosmetic ingredient used to provide a natural moisture barrier to the skin.
Fragrance (Natural)
SOURCE: Plant-based
Derived from essential oils. Natural fragrances are obtained from the use of oleoresins, distillates, fractions, concretes, absolutes, and extracts. These extraction methods obtain and hold on to the natural scent. All of these materials are extracted directly from the plant source, but each plant releases their fragrance materials differently.
Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate/Succinate
SOURCE: Plant-based
Derived from plant oils, this commonly used emulsifier allows substances that don’t easily mix to mix smoothly and evenly.
Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside
SOURCE: Plant-based
This mild non-ionic surfactant is used to help the essentials oils stay dissolved and evenly mixed in the overall formulation.
Sorbitan Oleate Decylglucoside Crosspolymer
SOURCE: Plant-based
This stabilizer made from 100% biobased raw materials is used to evenly disperse the fragrance in the formula.
Tapioca Starch
SOURCE: Plant-based
Extracted from the root of the cassava plant, this gluten-free absorptive powder is ideal for those looking for a baking soda alternative that’s easy on sensitive skin.
Silica
SOURCE: mineral
Silica is the amorphous version of crystalline quartz. It is a common food additive used as an anti-caking agent in powdered foods. In this case, it is used in low levels as a thickening agent.
Polyglyceryl-5 Oleate
SOURCE: Plant-based
Naturally derived from plant oils, this mild emollient enables oil-based and water-based substances to mix evenly. It is often used as a skin conditioner.
Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate
SOURCE: Plant-based
Naturally derived from plant oils, this mild emollient enables oil-based and water-based substances to mix evenly.
Glyceryl Caprylate
SOURCE: Plant-based
Derived from coconut/palm oils, this used for skin conditioning.
Phenethyl Alcohol (biobased*)
SOURCE: Plant based (derived from Rose and Carnation flowers)
Derived from sugar cane (not petroleum based) used as a humectant and preservative.
Citric Acid
SOURCE: Plant-based
Naturally derived from citrus fruit, citric acid is used to adjust pH and stabilize the formula.
